The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high variety of clients/beneficiaries to website access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The provider place established for intervention ordeals a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to empower the servicing of all consumers and boost usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
